Sarah Krohn develops and directs new work and adaptations.
Recent projects include THE PITS by Joshua Harmon (Sagal Fellowship Play at Williamstown Theater Festival, 2013) and HORSE GIRLS by Jenny Rachel Weiner (Presented at Fordham/Primary Stages and Ars Nova's ANT Fest, 2013). She co-conceived and directed VICTOR FRANGE PRESENTS GAS, Dan O’Neil’s new adaptation of Georg Kaiser's Gas I, which was presented at NYC’s Incubator Arts Project in August, 2012.
She has directed and developed work through Clubbed Thumb, New Georges, The Flea Theater, BAX, Williamstown Theater Festival, Dixon Place, JACK, Boston Center for the Arts, and New Repertory Theater, among others.
She is a 2011 graduate of Carnegie Mellon’s MFA directing program and recipient of the NYDAC/Henry Boettcher Award for excellence in directing.
Member of: 2014-16 Women's Project Theater Lab; Lincoln Center Theater Director’s Lab; and the 2012-13 Soho Rep Writer/Director Lab. Co-facilitator of The Jam (New Georges’ writer-director group). Recipient of an inaugural Audrey Residency from New Georges.
